What is F.L.A.M.E.?

F.L.A.M.E. (Finnish Linedance Awards - Mark of Excellence)

was founded in 2022 to celebrate high-quality dance choreographies and choreographers in the Finnish style.

Every year, Finnish line dancers vote for their favorites in different categories, which will later be awarded at the F.L.A.M.E. gala.

Dancers vote for the first-place nominees, and the winners are voted on from the second-place nominees with the most votes.

A dance that won a series the previous year is not eligible to be nominated in the same series after winning.

​

The winners will be presented at the F.L.A.M.E. gala, where the winners of the Easy Finnish Line Dance, Difficult Finnish Line Dance and Line Dance of the Year categories will also be taught.

The Finnish Line Dance of the Year will be taught at the Fall In Line event on Sunday, September 29, 2024.
